Romeo is an complex character. His past has left him hurt and with walls so high he never thought he was capable of love. He learned that Southern Girls never give up.

Dallas is a Southern debutant that is food obsesses and a is full of sass. I liked how she was became sex obsessed too. It was like the floodgates opened after she discovered what Romeo could give her.

I have a soft spot for Romeo. I don't know any other man that would do what he did for Dallas when she was sick.

I hope they continue to give us books of other characters in the series. I really want to see what happens to Frankie.

I don’t even know where to begin or end so I’ll leave you with this lovely quote from the book.

“I’m not going to hand over one of the most profitable corporations in the United States to a soulless bachelor half the company is too scared to approach.” My father was wrong. It was precisely my soullessness that made me the perfect candidate for the job of delivering heavy-duty weapons into the hands of dubious governments and banana republics.”

Yeah….

The ending felt extremely rushed and that is why it didn’t make my 5 star list but otherwise a great Romeo Juliet beauty and the beast type of retelling meets billionaire story

ROMEO NOT BEING REAL IS A HATE CRIME
I’m literally so in love with everything and everyone (excluding the parents fuck them ) in this book like everything’s so amazing I’m amazed astonished dying
Romeo being a tortured morally gray millionaire: in love
Dallas (shortbread) being a food obsessed and book fanatic with an unapologetic loud personality: in love
Zach ( can’t wait for his book ) being cold calculated calm and in disgust of emotions : in love
Frankie being very chaotic: in love
Haiti being amazing : in love
Oliver being himself : in love
Like literally they’re so amazing

I would’ve loved it even more if there was less yk what stuff

This was a surprisingly good book with tons of great banter between the 2 characters Dallas & Romeo. This is a mildly dark romance. I’ve read much darker and this one did not make me cringe.
