Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. A wreck is how Zane feels when he catches feeling for Taryn ex. Just one more glimpse is all he craves of Liam, after all the guy is all he can think about, coming out bi after he retired from the past injuries Zane has been looking for the one guy to try all he has dreamed of only one man fits that mode. Liam is determined to find Mr. Serious to settle down with only Zane is making it hard when he ticks off all his buttons, but can they go there after all? One is best friend and the other is the ex, but can Zane prove he intentions are true pet names and all or will Liams past relationship of commitment phobias tank what is becoming increasingly important to him. I laughed so much with Coopers adorably funny side that is pulling Liam out of his self doubts. Just love the ease these two have together and not realize what is glaringly obviously right in front of them. A great and wonder read, you even have Taryn and Elliot make appears.

“It’s kind of funny that all that time I thought I was looking for someone serious, when all I really wanted was someone serious about me.”

I didn't know this was a series, so I haven't read Taryn's book. I'm pleased to say that I didn't feel like I was missing anything--this book can definitely stand alone. Zane is such a goofy, lovable guy and I was enamored with him from the very first pages. Liam took a bit longer to warm up to, but every time he bantered with Zane I fell a bit more in love with his quirkiness. I've never read this author before, and I'm so impressed by the raw emotion packed into this book. I laughed, swooned, and held my breath hoping these two men would stop resisting their electric chemistry. Their happy ending left me beaming and so full of happiness. If you're a looking for a low-angst, sweet and steamy sports romance, I highly recommend it!

Zane and Liam had me laughing as much as they had me swooning over their relationship. Zane had a lightness about him that brought out the softer side of Liam and helped him get over his fears of being in a relationship and throwing away his preconceived notions about the type of man he wanted. This was low angst with no big breakup scene. This was definitely my favorite book in the series.

This was a new to me author, and now I can't wait to read more by Saxon James. It was sweet and funny, and a great story about discovering yourself. I definitely recommend it.

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily gave my honest review.
