I enjoyed the audio version of this book as a follow up to The War That Saved My Life. It was nice to hear how things went for Ada and I enjoyed that the story was told from Ada’s childish perspective. Overall, the book was inspirational and had a good message about people being able to change their attitudes towards others.

I just totally adore this series. I can't stop gushing about it. This one made me cry more than once, but it's still just so great. I know I'll be recommending it across the board to everyone from 3rd grade to agree 80.

Couldn't put it down. The author does such a good job of making you feel so deeply for these characters.

What a phenomenal follow up to the first book. This story was beautiful and touching. Wow!

Awesome Book! Maybe better than The War That Saved My Life.

5.5/6
A marvelous sequel! Didn’t like it quite as much as the first one, but this was a great follow up. Ada truly grows and comes to terms with her feelings and learns to let some things go. I am so happy for her and her new family, even if it’s made up of people she’s not related to. The love each other and that is what matters.

8/10 met een extra ster voor Ada en de andere personages (ook in het vorige boek) ♥ je gaat gewoon van ze houden!
