Did not know this was a series!!! This book is brilliant. Another great read. Will definitely be reading the others

Tears literal tears. I never thought this would make me cry but it did. Mara I love you you were such an interesting character and I will miss you and the Messenger. I will miss this world

this could be a very interesting YA series. great start. has good possibilities.

Great book, at the time of reading I didn't know it was part 2 of a series but despite of that I felt that the book lacked a specific direction. Every time the fmc asked what they were doing and how it was connected to the previous case, I felt as confused as her. The book was slightly a blur but I liked it nevertheless.

This book was epic! the storyline was amazing and the ending was unexpected... I hope the next one will be out of this world! I loved all the characters and settings, they were amazingly creative and cool.I would recommend this and give it 5 stars of epicness!!!!

This book is the sequel to The Messenger Of Fear by Michael Grant. Michael Grant is an auto buy author for me and reading this book I remembered why.

This book, to put it shortly, crushed my soul and messed with my emotions. Like whoa.

Easily a 5/5 read for me and I'm really hoping for a third book or maybe a prequel into the Messengers apprenticeship?????? Just anything so I don't have to leave this world! Please!

very sensitively handled issue of islamophobia and the complexities of bigotry

Michael Grant's writing and disturbing imagery made this a strong read, and there seemed to be an interesting story building with multiple interconnected threads and timeline jumps. There was so much potential, and yet...

DNF @ 43%

I wanted to make it to 50%, but I just couldn't. I found myself skipping page after page of Mara's inner monologue, because I simply don't care. Her weird crush on Messenger... I just don't care. It was pretty disappointing.
