Quick read. May have enjoyed it more sharing similar background to the author.
3/5 (Re-read, rating unchanged)
I sometimes fell short of being the best, but I never fell short of giving it my best.
Main takeaways:
- Making your bed may seem trivial when bigger assignments are waiting for you. Still, starting off the day with this small task (the author recommends doing this before breakfast and going to the bathroom) can give you a sense of pride and ensure you're ready to deal with the rest of your tasks. Also, making your bed can prevent extra stress before going to sleep at night
- A support network of people who love and support each other, and share the same values and goals, will help all of those involved stay motivated and find strength even on bad days
Actionable advice: Try to take failures as motivation & value/grow your support network
