I really liked this although I didn't realize it would be open door. It moved a little slow at some parts but I like the overall story. I'll definitely read the nest one.

The main couple of this story is so cute. The story, though it takes place against a bleak background, can be pretty funny. The details are rich and interesting. The book does enemies to lovers right.

This book grew on me over time. I enjoyed the Southeast Asian inspired fantasy world, it's a breath of fresh air - but I wish the world had been fleshed out in even more detail. The main characters are often frustratingly oblivious, but that's normal for this kind of slow burn romance. I ended up liking them more over time. Overall I'm looking forward to reading the sequel!

The TENSION
I went into this because of one review that said the reader couldn't get enough of this series. I assumed it was another amazing fantasy series. And while it is that (or at least, this book is), I had no idea that there was a romance subplot!
War torn countries, a long lost princess, dragons, and an enemies to (hopefully) lovers slow burn. UGH
I am also obsessed

My main complaint is that with the audiobook, there wasn't a good separator when we changed perspectives.
