Hated this - stopped in the first third of the book.

Cecelia Ahern is my all time favourite author, every single book I read by her, leaves me with a book hangover. The story and the characters affect me so much that as I close the book and turn it over I have to just sit there, staring at the cover, thinking of what I just read. This book was no different, I thoroughly enjoyed this entire book and I felt so invested in the story! At the climax, my heart was ripped out and I knew how it was going to end. It definitely wasn't a typical ending for a story like this. As much as I wanted it to go the other way, (so badly!!) I was also pleased that this story didn't follow the a stage fairytale ending.

Took me a while to get into it, but the reveal at the end was worth it.

Despite a slightly awkward first chapter, this book is probably my favorite of Ahern's novels. The ending is heartbreakingly lovely.

Really enjoyed this book. It is light-hearted and fun. The topic is unique. I even enjoyed the switch in narrator from 3rd person to Ivan's 1st person account.

The book jacket says the book was optioned by Disney. I can totally see this being a cute family movie.

This wasn't the book that I meant to read. I meant to read a different Ahern book. This one was kind of fun. It was hokey at times, but overall a nice quick read.

It's official. Cecelia Ahern is going to be one of my new favourite authors.

I loved this so, so much. More than The Gift, mind you. And I liked that one a whole lot too.

But this one is a champion. It's poignant, beautiful, innocent, loveable, etc.

Definitely a favourite!!!

Read in Norwegian a few years ago. I suppose it good lost in the transfer from visual bookshelf. It's a pretty infantile book, but I admit I enjoyed it anyway. Check your brain at the door and just go along for the ride!
