I love shain roses more recent hardy family books so I wanted to give these a try…
So much going on, the mmc leaves the fmc for such a weird blackmail from her father that doesn’t make sense. Returns 6 years later and has a gf and was also hooking up with other people while “in love” with fmc. The mmc returning for his app launch was such a random add to the story. They were both really toxic to each other and I didn’t feel the love other than physical attraction.

OH MY LORDY...
I can not believe this is a debut book!
For a new to me (and new to publishing) author this book was outstanding.
I could feel the fear, love and loss that was portrayed; the anguish and the longing.
I absolutely adored Aubrey and Jax.
Their relationship did give me a bit of whiplash at times... but, it was all worth the emotional rollercoaster in the end.
4.5 stars.
I am looking forward to the next book!!

Second chance romance. They both have quite a few issues. If they both just communicated better, half of their issues would be non-existent. Both of them need to grow up as well. They were great for each other when they were good and they really seemed to care for one another but their childish nature got in the way. I liked the Native American plot and it brought awareness to real life issues.

Enjoyed the chapters when they were in high school. But couldn't get past the a few chapters after the time jump. Started skimming because it was so repetitive. DNF
