Once you get past the initial “why” it can be quite enjoyable if you’re a HP fan. Lots of name dropping and ass kissing of literally everyone in those films. Unfortunately he mentions JKR a few times and does not say anything about what a monster she is. I get it, you are here because of her but it seems irresponsible to address her transphobia IN MY OPINION.

The last quarter of the book is about his stints in rehab after an intervention from his team and family. I actually really liked this because he didn’t necessarily have a rock bottom or a breaking point, just relied on alcohol and needed to do some work on himself. Great!! So many dudes (sorry it’s true) won’t go to therapy because they’re fine/“not that bad” and I think if this got into the right hands it could make an impact on some folks.

But yeah, do not recommend unless you love HP. Fun audiobook performance, def do that if you’re gonna check this out.

Lovely read, for any fan of Tom and the world of Harry Potter.
An heartfelt honest biography, as well as him giving insight to all of his tales from being on set at Leavesden studios.
