A solid slow-burn, enemies to lovers romance.

Scratches the Pride and Prejudice itch without being a retelling.

More like a twisted tale: what if Lizzie was a mercenary sort of young lady (i.e., looking for money over love), and what if she set her sights on a Bingley-type? In comes Darcy, except he is rather charming.
And none of the names are the same.

The true villain is the patriarchy/society, but the Wickham character does show up.

And of course, it wouldn't be complete without an elopement!

Spice-free romance. Enemies to lovers. Eldest daughter struggles. If you liked the FMC from Book Lovers, then you'll like Kitty.

I enjoyed this 'most ardently'!
