Not as good as the full books but still enjoyable. And now I’m sadly done with the time police series books. Time to try out the St. Mary’s series.

Audiobook (All of my entries on The Story Graph are audiobooks.)
#4.5 in series  (I started reading this series in June 2023.)
Will I read other installments?     Probably Not             Maybe              Definitely
I have other installments #3 & #4 to read.
Comparison to others in series:     Not as good           About the same           Better
I may have missed somethings skipping from book two to this Christmas story. It was a good novella with all of the action of a full length Time Police book. It was only a bit Christmas related.
The narrator was Zara Ramm. Zara and Jodi are intertwined for me.

4 stars. Really fun little novella that started out as a heartwarming Christmas story starring the Time Police and then warped into something so weird and crazy that, yep, it is definitely a Time Police story! Lt. Grint apparently has a soft side-who would have thought it! He gets drawn into kids and their drama at the TPHQ Christmas party. Trying to help out he gets himself and Jane into a huge mess involving bubble universes and candy floss (cotton candy for the Americans among us). This was a quick read that had me laughing out loud and reading bits to people around me; sadly, I didn’t know any of them but on the up side they all thought I was crazy and left me alone to enjoy my ride through time. I adore Jodi Taylor and this was a wonderful little adventure in her world.

A fun read, another great little jaunt into the Time Police Archives, this time for a little Christmas adventure in short story format!
