Watching Ryan Decarie falling in love was nothing short of an experience.

I loved watching him and Bente trying to navigate being in an adult relationship with each other. I loved their dynamic and honestly, I was Ryan's number one fan by the time we reached this book.

Ryan and Bridget's relationship was so sweet and adorable, but I fully understood Bente's frustration with how Bridget treated her, her things and how Ryan was prone to letting her away with doing whatever she wanted to do. If I was being put second in place of a four year old, I'd be pretty annoyed at the whole thing, too.

Ryan had his douchey moments in this, but when he gave Bridget her wings back? Swoon.

I have adored this Wishes Series right from the start and not one of the books has fallen below my expectations.

I love Adam and Charli from the previous books and they feature strongly BUT this story is about Ryan and Bente. Ryan is an evolving man and it's a joy to read his journey to adulthood (yes I know he's not new to this stage in his life). The biggest delight in this book has to be Bridget. There were numerous times I was laughing out loud to my family's annoyance but Bridget is just so damn funny!

If you've not read this series now is the time to start......it's my all out favourite.

This Saving Wishes series has carved itself a very special place in my heart. Definitely earned a place high in my favourites list.

Secret North centers on Ryan's story and for all I love him and enjoyed sharing his journey to his happy ever after, I am so incredibly glad Charli takes a big part in it. I can't think of another book where I have warmed to the female protagonist quite so much as I have Charli. And as for Bridget...WOW! That little girl is so freaking adorable. I don't want her to ever lose her wings ever again.

Everyone needs a la la land retreat. Magic enriches life.
