I think this the lowest star I have given a book. At first, I was really interested in the story. "The Light Years" reminded me of Jeffrey Archer's "The Clifton Chronicles". Then a part of the story become extremely disgusting to me and I could not continue to read. I am very disappointed.

Génial ! Un Downton Abbey littéraire. Le premier tome nous emmène dans l'Angleterre de l'entre deux guerres. J'ai hâte de découvrir le tome 2.

If you like British family sagas, a la Downton Abbey, you will enjoy this book. I was so happy to stumble upon it knowing that I would be able to immerse myself in the Cazalet family story over a number of books.

It did get a little draggy toward the end, but sometimes sagas be like that.
