I loved the concept.
I loved the execution.
I love Maya and Skye.

Sophie Gonzales came up with a great concept, and I really want to see this reality show happen.

Also, big love on the hardcover design - the rose on the front underneath a gorgeous cover with a Taylor Swift reference as the title? Instant love.

Overall a cute, lighthearted rom com. I will say that the level of gaslighting and manipulation that the ex-boyfriend engages in made this hard to read at some points - if that’s a trigger point for you at all I would be cautious. Otherwise, a fun fluffy story, good for a vacation read.

this is the second book of sophie gonzales that i've read and i really enjoyed it, as much as i enjoyed the first one.

i love the book cover and the title. it's so intriguing. i also love the characters (except jordy). the girls are funny and really made me laugh out loud. the dynamics are so good. i love the reality show concept, it made things more interesting. i also like isaac a lot. he's very cool.

i have a few problems here and there but idk.
i wish they whooped jordy's ass in live television and exposed him right there, but i also loved how it happened in the end, i think.
that's all that i can say so far. read it for the taylor swift references, the reality show drama, and good friendship and love that comes out of all of it.

This book was fun! I was drawn in by the premise and it outdid my expectations. I was happily surprised by the candid, funny voice of the characters and was glad to see someone suffer the consequences of their actions.

Maya's cheating ex, whom the world adores, is the lead in a reality show where his exes all try to win him back. Maya agrees to join to get revenge, but Skye, the girl Jordy cheated on her with is there too. Is there more than friendship between her and Skye? I thought this book was a fun read, albeit a bit dull at times and was probably a hundred pages too long. I adored the trope of guy cheats on two girls and they date each other, I loved it so much. Maya and Skye were amazing, and a very well-written couple. They let each other become the best version of themselves. This book is a good light read and I recommend it to people who just want something lighthearted.

so so much fun! i loved perfect on paper so i knew i needed to grab this. the author crafted jordy in a way that made him perfectly easy to hate with his lies and calling all the women “chicks”.. just beautiful. i loved maya and skye. there wasn’t a lot of miscommunication that could’ve easily been fixed which was nice. though it did have the dreaded third act breakup. i did like how they eventually got the other women on their side against jordy.
