So they ARE enemies but really, they are very flirty enemies even when they press knives against each other. BUT THE SLOW BURN IS SOOOOO GOOD and Kai and Pae have so much chemistry it hurts. That being said, I want enemies to HATE each other at first but from the moment when he first met her, Kai is like "omggg she's sooo prettyyyyyyy"


THERE WERE MULTIPLE "WHO DID THIS TO YOU" MOMENTS. ON BOTH SIDES

AND A NIGHTMARE TROPE

AND SO. MUCH. ANGST.

And it's dual POV !!!!!!


BUT THAT ENDING BROKE ME. I knew it was coming, the "betrayal", but I cannot imagine how the characters are gonna deal with this next. I NEED THE SECOND BOOK IMMEDIATELY!!!

Ok so in reality I read Powerless four or five months back but after reading Fearless this week I decided that I needed to get something out.
1. I don’t enjoy reading enemies-to-lovers. Just not into it. This is entirely different. Best explained, this book is Paedyn and Kai holding knives to each other’s throats while flirting effortlessly. The banter was written perfectly for each of their personalities and was just fun to read. It was just unarguably hilarious.
Read this book. It’s great, okay.
(While you’re at it, read the rest of the trilogy too.)
