A love letter to death, grief, life, making mistakes, feelings and emotions, love and the human experience.
It is quite slow-paced and can be difficult to immerse oneself fully into this book as the characters can be difficult to relate to.
However it has beautifully divulged and opened up into this difficulty making one realise that one is not so different from the other.
Sally Rooney has once again beautifully and impeccably tran formed the human experience and the mundanity of life into literature that feeds the soul.
Absolutely gut-wrenching and eye-opening.
Life is too short to not open up and talk to each other. It exposes how truly powerful feelings can be and how much they can change a person and their life.
Thought provoking and reflective.

"The demands of other people do not dissolve; they only multiply. More and more complex, more difficult. Which is another way, she thinks, of saying: more life, more and more of life."

That being said I really loved everything about this, and was probably wrong about Sally Rooney all along, oops!
I suppose I’m in an era where reading about all the different ways we can love and hurt one another is a lot more interesting than it once was. Also, I would describe this as a surprisingly sexy book.
