I really enjoyed this look at New Mexican cuisine as it was in the 1930s. Interesting to see what has survived and what has become less common. I also really appreciated the information in the back of the book about harvest traditions and food storage. Yup. I really just said that, and I totally mean it.

If you're not a super freak about New Mexican history and cultural traditions, probably this ain't for you.
