I was kind of surprised that I liked this book as much as I did. It came to the point of not wanting to put the book down. It gets 5 stars, simply because I thought I had it all figured out, and I most certainly did not.

Didn't actually finish it yet... but I intend to. The introduction was very intriguing. Hesitant about the author's writing style but then again I only did read the first chapter.

This book was amazing! It isn't something I would normally pick up so I was really surprised that I liked it so much (it's not a genre I typically read). I will definitely be checking out more books by this guy!

Maybe I didn't give this one enough of a chance. I suppose it could have been almost a 4-star, but I just couldn't get myself onto The Bone House train. This read like a boatload of mental damage, bathed in closed-mindedness. No, thanks. Also, the protagonist (is Cab the protagonist? it's debatable) isn't very sympathetic. Wah wah, poor little rich boy who is brilliant in everything but his ability to manage relationships. Because that hasn't been done before...

Very happy to find a new mystery series! This one had plenty of twists and turns. Very interesting central characters, I am going back for more!

Really great suspense and story. I listened to it on audio book, couldn't wait until the next disc. Will definitely check out other books by Brian Freeman.
