I was taken by the story at the beginning but all the grip the plot had on me disappeared the moment the reason for the main mystery was revealed. For some reason after that I just couldn’t care for the main couple and both of them individually enough to rate this higher than 3⭐️. Maybe it’s not my kind of magical realism haha

I loved this book so so much!! It started off a little slow but it was just the build up for a story of twists and turns with the most beautifully written characters. I loved every single character like they were my closest friends. The ending was predictable for me but it didn’t make it any less beautiful. I cried so many times as if this was a real story!
