the audacity of miss maas!

to spend the entire first installment building up a romance that ends up being quickly discarded for a better one in book two? iconic. feyre fought a giant worm for that man and then dropped him in an instant. (granted, he sucks.)

to follow up a first book that is ~just ok~ with a story that goes this hard from start to finish? major.

Gonna be honest here. I can see why people don’t like this series. There a lot of weird storylines/plot holes. Some spicy scenes. Glorified toxic relationships and what not. But for some reason I am very invested and I have not stopped thinking about it.
