God, I can already tell that this shit is going to be priceless.

hmm this was interesting... definitely pretty funny and sex positive i just wasn't head over heels for the characters! I may pick up the next volume in time though!

I wasn't sure if this was going to be for me, but I really liked this. I loved the way adult Suzie hung around as the narrator, often wearing funny outfits that corresponded to the scene (a sexy nurse outfit while younger Suzie was at the gynecologist, etc). In general, I loved Suzie, although I'm not sure about Jon yet.

There were one or two jokes/elements that bugged me, but overall this is a fun and interesting start.

I've read a lot of great graphic novels lately, and this ranks among them. A really enjoyable and entertaining read.

Sex Criminals has an entertaining and interesting story, with interesting characters, and an overall interesting premise. The humour in it is absolutely on point, I found myself laughing out loud a number of times and ended up being very glad I wasn't reading it in public for that reason. I loved that they showed how the characters found out about their abilities without it feeling like the story was slowed down at all. The art was great and really fit the style of the writing. I enjoyed that this volume had extra material in the back, which was fun extra reading when I really didn't want the volume to be quite done yet.

I would recommend this to anyone looking to insert (ha!) a little sex humour into their day and anyone just looking for an entertaining and enjoyable graphic novel. I will be eagerly looking forward to the next volume.

4.5*

Mostly any graphic novel that keeps my attention for five volumes and eep me up at night will get almost five stars.

-The artwork was very cool, it was the deciding factor when choosing between this one and another
-I haven't seen a concept like this so it felt fresh and new to me.
-Although, I didn't like the way some of the cut scenes were done
-The Queen scene was still pretty funny and awesome even with the modifications

Eh. I did not enjoy it.

What to say, what to say....

I know this graphic novel has 4.0+ rating, but I cannot personally agree to that.

First, what really threw me off was the art style. The emphasis on the heavy, dark lines only made the characters and setting look ugly and contorted. If I am taking my time to read a graphic novel, I better love the art, yet this just left me dissatisfied.

I was already skeptical about the premise, but for some reason, I decided to give it a try. I don“t consider sex a taboo, but everything got very weird very quickly. The kind of weird that made me want to look away and not continue. It was all too much for me. Nothing made me laugh, but everything made me cringe.

If you are into raunchy humor, then this title might be for you. As for myself, I will not pick up the rest of the series.

Really entertaining and original! Sarcastic, and funny as well. Reading vol. 2 next!
