Ha! Awesome!

This was just great and I can not wait for the next installment. If you are lucky enough to be having sex, lets hope its good. If you are extreamly lucky its excellent. And if you are one of the few, you can stoy time when you reack the point of no return. This librarian and her new guy find that they are two of a kind and decide to use their "magical powers" to rob banks. But this is no Bonnie and Clyde story. They have a good reason to rob banks: SAVE THE LIBRARIAN. As a Librarian myself I find this to be a totally worthy reason to rob a bank. But there are the "sex" police who also can enter The quiet (the time stoped place after orgasim) and they are going to make sure that these theives do not get away with it.

It was OK. Kind of a dumb idea and story but manages to be funny sometimes.

reanne's review against another edition

DID NOT FINISH

Read about a third of this. Did not like. It has some humorous lines/dialogue, but for the most part... yeah, did not like. The art was not a style I liked. The storyline and attitudes portrayed by the story are not anything I am in favor of. If you're at all on the conservative side when it comes to views of sex, stay well away from this one.

Though I didn't dislike this only because of the very pro-promiscuity storyline. As I said, I didn't like the art. It does not look especially professional to me, and I prefer to read comics with guys who are better looking. It's an aesthetics thing. Also, I find the fantasy element of this story to be really preposterous. I'm a big fantasy fan, but this was just, in my opinion, stupid. Also, I didn't like any of the characters and couldn't relate to them in the slightest.

If you're wondering why I read it, it's because it was in the Hugo voter packet and I don't like voting without reviewing each nominee (or at least those that are available to me for free).

I don't really rate comics on here, but when I say this is the best written and most original work being produced today I mean it. This is now the reference book that I give people and have hardcopies on my shelf for that purpose. Years from now somebody is going to adapt this to TV and make a fortune.

I probably wouldn't have picked this up based on the title, but it was nominated for the Hugo Award, do I needed to read it in order to vote. The "criminals" are not at all what I expected. I quite liked it, though I can't imagine where volume 2 will be going.

This is hilarious and sexy and weird and the art is rad. Fun series. Will certainly continue reading.

this was very enjoyable! the art didn't really do much for me, but I did enjoy the many amusing incidental details. And come on, it's a comic about a librarian with a sex superpower - what's not to like about that?

Funny in parts. Nice ambiance and a fun enough read. Didn't make much sense in the end really, but I guess maybe it'll get explained later.

I think this was my favorite panel:

A complete joy to read.

Also, it's absolutely hilarious.

Can't recommend enough.
