This book wasn't good, but I had a great time reading it. The pacing was all over the place, the customs were very 1960s, and the drama was top tier. Drugs! Sex! Showbiz! A perfect beach read. Quite comforting to know how long trashy, enjoyable reads have been around.

TW for self harm and forced psychiatric care (which show up with no warning in the book).

i read this over the summer while i was at camp and it’s the best summer book i could’ve picked up, i literally could not put it down for the life of me and im glad i didn’t. every plot is so good and at the end it left me so empty yet fulfilled at the same time
