Meg Cabot

This is by far the best and funniest of the series. Within the first chapter, I was laughing hysterically, and remained amused throughout the entire novel. Heather Wells is the kind of character I relate to. She's a bit clueless sometimes, finds herself in ridiculous situations, but she's a good person and tries her best to make things right. I love her! And Cabot has a talent for making her guy characters irresistible. I want a Cooper!

The mystery was very predictable; however, the way it's executed and the confrontation between Heather and the murderer is priceless, so I was okay with it. I liked the new characters that were added into this book, and the return of old characters such as her ex-fiance Jordan and her old boss Tom. Like I said, the whole novel is hilarious. There's a good mix of humor and seriousness in here.

Justine Eyre is the perfect narrator for Big Boned. Her inflections, tone, and pacing are all spot-on and I had no trouble believing that I was actually listening to Heather Wells tell her story. Just like with reading a book, I know I'm listening to a good audiobook when I completely lose track of time. That's what happened with Big Boned. Not once was I pulled out of the story. I consider this (and the rest of the series) a definite must-read for Cabot fans and chick-lit lovers.

This series was my introduction to Meg Cabot and I am SOOOOOO glad I read it! These three books are at the top of my list of favorites. They are literally laugh out loud funny. Her writing style is conversational and everything flows beautifully. Heather Wells is down-to-earth, real, and represents every woman who ever had her heart broken, then recovered quickly. I absolutely love her relationship, or non-relationship, whatever it is, with Cooper. Heck, *I* wanted to jump his bones after reading about him for three novels. LOL

These are just cute light, fluff reads. This one was less annoying than the previous book, which was refreshing. (By that I mean that Heather was easier for me to relate to and root for.) I would recommend this serie to people who want a quick read with a lady protagonist, and like less intense mystery novels.

This series has been a fun one to listen to on my way to work. They are light and fun and never disappoint!

Less fun of a read than I thought it would be to be honest. The situations were a little too ridiculous for me. I feel like I must have forgotten a lot about the tone of the first 2 books or this one was just really off the mark for me.

So I haven't read any of the other books in this series but I loved this one. Heather is funny and quirky... as well as totally out of shape. I read this because it looked like it might be about weddings... sort of... and it was a mystery.. again sort of... and I was planning my wedding and needed a release... a release it was.

This was utterly dreadful. Vapid, cloying, body-shaming, sexist... dreadful. Let us never speak of it again.

Ler Meg Cabot é sempre amor. E Heather Wells é sempre fantástica.

I enjoyed this book a lot. I was happy to learn that there will be two more Heather Wells mysteries coming out.
