The plot was intriguing but I struggled with the writing style. And come on, even I predicted the plot twist/mystery.

This was probably the most boring Sherlock Holmes book, but it did help me to sleep at night at least. I like that the books are getting more complex and in depth, but this book just went on for way too long for what actually happened in it. I did still like it and I don't regret having read it at all.

Man but Sherlock does like to hear himself talk, doesn't he???

Seriously though this was fun and interesting. How the story played out wasn't a complete mystery to me because as I was reading I realized that I had seen the story before, as adapted for a TV show. I can't remember what show it was (maybe Doctor Who) but I had definitely seen the storyline before so I had a feeling how it would turn out.

Even knowing the ending it was still very interesting and a fun read. And, despite my opening sentence, it was fun reading how the mind of Sherlock Holmes mind worked.

One of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's best.

O cachorro ser apenas um cachorro grande me decepcionou. Eu sabia que não iria ser algo sobrenatural mas mesmo assim.
O culpado também é super óbvio.

Probably the weirdest of the Sherlock Holmes stories, but that does make it the one I remember the most.

There's not enough Holmes here for me, but still excellent.

The definition of a Classic.
