Audiobook narrated by Stephen Fry.

Easily the best of the first three Sherlock Holmes Novel (haven't read Valley of Fear). A bit less “screen time” of Holmes than one would expect, but it was great mystery nonetheless.

Baskerville is one of Conan Doyle’s finest and probably his best Holmes novel. Taut, gripping and more satisfyingly structured than the other novels, it’s a fantastic mystery with a vein of horror and a tinge of the supernatural thrown in. The plot is compelling, the atmosphere oppressive and Watson is charmingly clueless as usual.

A classic and one to be read by all.

Reading the books in chronological order; so far this is my absolute favorite. I enjoyed the novella format more than the collection of short stories I've read thus far.

Al secondo posto -molto distante dal primo, occupato dal Poirot tronfio delle mie estati quindicenni- c'è Sherlock Holmes.
