not as good as the other ones but I was happy to see how it ended!
This book was amazing. It was everything that I wanted in a book and so much more. The characters were incredibly written and there was hardly any boring parts. Usually conclusions to series aren't long enough, or are boring but his over 800 page was fantastic! I love the lunar chronicles and the world that Marisa Meyer created. I'm really gonna miss it but I can't wait to read more books by her!
So rarely has a book series had such a satisfactory ending.
I'm in awe. I had high expectations- and they were pretty much all met. Sometimes a series' last book doesn't satisfy, it comes too short. Sometimes, a series' last book is just way too much action and bOOM and things going on all over the place. Winter was pretty much perfect, (well.. on a good day) *WINK WINK*. It has a ton of action, but it doesn't border on ridiculous. There is a clear pathway the characters are taking. The plot doesn't tangle and twist. It doesn't blow up and leave plot holes all over the place. It always left me hanging. It always left me guessing. While there was clearly a path Meyer was leading the crew on, it was never obvious and I found myself surprised at every turn.
The characters are as wonderful as they have always been. They're resourceful, strong, cunning, and smart. They're loyal and willing to risk themselves for the sake of one another- stubborn and a little bit stupid, hehe. This strange crew of gather people from all different corners of society: a theif, an andriod, a mechanical cyborg princess, a hacker girl, the famous prince, a farm girl, her wolf, a crazy princess and her guard... they're so unique and real- best personality chips in the world. Dear dear Winter herself stole my heart. I love the relationships in the book and the fact that Meyer never made any of it complicated. No annoying triangles, no break ups. The romance scenes had my heart aching and my cheeks all heated and sh*t. I love that things didn't work out perfectly for the characters in the book- they struggled and they lost things, but in the end they came out on top and things were good and righteous.
One of the biggest problems I had with books like THG and other popular dystopian books was the lack of structure. There wasn't any clarification about how these revolts were actually doing. And there isn't any idea of how the place is going to be fixed up after the herione/hero/people wreck havoc and take down the ruler. I think. I can't remember those books all that well it's been a long time- but! I remember being frustrated in a "this doesn't make sense!" *throws up hands* kind of way. Winter didn't make me feel like that. I understood how the people were feeling and the steps that were being taken. They also weren't automatically like, "AHHH KILL THE QUEEN!". They were unsure, scared, and skeptical- as theY SHOULD BE. So. Yeah, that was good. The people were slowly won over and that gave the ending more of a true base to fall back on.
Okay, I'm going to stop fawning over this book now.

If Cinder had all these plans and they practiced and went over them and over them and over them- but then they didn't use any of them (cause they were mostly all wrecked).. I don't know I guess I wanted to see Cinder's genius at work! We never really got to see her or Kai really develop. Cinder was kind of forced into this whole queenlyship thing and I kind of wanted her to freak out more instead of squash it down. (although I get the squashing down). I wanted wolf's POV when he switches back to being good and protecting Scarlet. I thought they had tricked him into thinking she hated him? At least it wasn't like HG where it was all brainwash into killing the one you love- or like a memory wipe *shudders at the dumb relationship plot intensifiers*. Why does Cinder's mom do those things? What do we know about her? So was she the inherently evil person and Queen Lev just a black branch off that tree so that her evilness could be explained and directed towards someone already dead? What about Aimery? Why was he such an asshole...?Gawddddammit Meyer you did SUCH A GOOd JOB. AND I'M REAAL IMPRESSED.

This probably would have been 5 stars if it wasn’t so long, but that also being said I read/listened to this much quicker than I thought I would. I thought I’d listen to the audio a few hours a day, and within 24 hours I was done. I even forced myself to not listen until I was in bed, and yet that didn’t work at all.
I really enjoyed they story even though it’d been so long since I finished the last book. It was really easy to pick back up and not feel lost, and while I disliked some characters, I still loved the same ones. (Probably won’t read final novella, I liked how this ended & don’t need more)

I'm going to miss The Lunar Chronicles and all the wonderful characters. A great conclusion to the series.
Series wraps up pretty nicely. The flow of the book is good and kept me turning the pages rapidly; I was worried that I wouldn't be interested since it's been over a year since I left off with Cress, however I got right back into the writing style very quickly.
I kind of wish they spent more time on Winter (or "Princess crazy pants" as I called her) but with all the things going on and the team often being split up, the book is forced to do a lot of bounce around check ins. As well although knowing Levana's back story, she is still not able to be redeemed in the end..... but I think that might be true of most wicked people in life.
I can't really get into too much without blowing the whole thing.... I think a couple will be pissed at the vague reference to Levana's end.....

That was such a sweet ending !! It made my heart melt :')
That being said, I can't really say I feel attached to the series. I think I'd recommend it to someone who wants to get into sci-fi/fantasy and wants something fluffy-ish but with a good amount of emotion. Also, the plot twists were just,,,,,,
Me gusto a medias, me gusto mucho el final y ciertas escenas a lo largo del libro, creo que es un final fuerte y la saga en general me gusto mucho pero para mi, el primero es excelente y los otros 3 decaen al agregar tantas perspectivas distintas.

So. This was amazing. I’m devastated to leave this world behind after getting so attached to the characters and going on this journey with them. What a ride! I’m so happy with the conclusion tbh and I just want my bbs to be happy. Every one in this book is exceptional- brave, strong, loyal, funny... do I need to go on?? I don’t really know what to say after that. I just love this series with my whole heart lol. And this time I actually got emotional towards the end?? I don’t remember that happening last time. So now, like last year, I will devour anything else that has to do with this series (Stars Above, Fairest). Also, I have decided to do yearly rereads because I need it for my mental health
