Captivating love-story covering the all-too-real hurdles of working in academia and focusing on the character development of the main character. Still, the love interest did not catch me completely, but this didn't make the novel less enjoyable.

I love Ali Hazelwood she is phenomenal The book was as I expected. She blends romance, humour and between academic science expressions every chapter was named on something science related I loved this , I related to Elsie so much it was so healing to read about a recovered people pleasing girl, jack was written so well he was perfect I like how considerate and compassionate he is ,I will be reading any and everything Ali published for sure.
