I gave this a 2.5. I wanted to DNF as soon as the dirty sex talk happened. I am not much for age gaps but have it a chance..but I cannot do calling each other “slut”, “whore” and “daddy”. Just not for me. I did finish it and hope the next is as good as the first one.

The smut absolutely killed this book for me. It was pretty out of left field and cringe. I loved the first 60% of the book but once the smut kicked off I really had a hard time finishing it. I felt like it changed the characters.

Lennox is the wild, youngest child of her family. Barrel racer, straight shooter, and isn't afraid to get her hands dirty. Especially when it comes to the foreman on her family's ranch.
This was so fun to read. The banter had me laughing. I cried multiple times, so keep some tissues nearby. I was also either kicking or stomping my feet at certain parts. For as quiet as Bishop is around everyone, he has quite the eloquent and dirty mouth for Lennox.
This is the second book in the series and I've loved them both. I'm excited for Cleo's book in November.

maybe a lil too much pushing and pulling… hot and cold moments…. wanted to see grovelling from bishop since he was always the one pulling away. but i loved lennox that’s my girl!!
