Ok, NOW I'm done. Burnt out of Frieda McFadden, finally. Just as well, as this is probably the best one I've read. A much more gripping premise and the pacing really worked for me. The stakes and tension rose satisfyingly, it's just a shame that McFadden's characters were characteristically bland and uncompelling, and her overall themes as pointless as ever. Still, she's always fun for a turn-off-your-brain time.

Excuse me i can’t even put into words how this book made me feel. Whenever i thought i knew something id end up changing my mind, the ending took me by complete surprise, Freida just knows how to give a good twist

This was a really fun and super easy read! It’s a solid 3.75 ⭐️!! It reminded me a lot of “The Hunting Party” by Lucy Foley so I often found myself comparing the books while reading :( otherwise - still a good thriller!

Another great book by Freida. Definitely has the creepy cabin in the woods vibe. This book kept me guessing right up until the twist she is so known for. This book was an easy but entertaining read and I would recommend it.
