I enjoyed his other books more, but this one was certainly well worth the read. Some chapters did not hold my attention well- some did. This is an okay book.

A lot of food for thought, especially about some fables/tales that we’ve accepted as fact. I’m sad that I came to this book so late.

There are a lot of negative reviews on David & Goliath that seem to be based on the pseudo-science Gladwell presents here. I think that is an unfair judgement on the book. Gladwell is a journalist, not a scientist. Sometimes I think he can wander off his subject and get bogged down in minutiae, but D&G stays on task nicely with the personal stories adding a nice flow.

The book does a very good job of presenting a theory why, when odds are against them, the underdogs sometimes win. It's not an exhaustive study. Gladwell looks at unexpected maneuvers, personal tragedy and/or hardship and "remote misses" as the contributing factors for some cases of success against the odds.

I found the subject interesting and the personal stories inspiring and well presented. It gave me some things to think about. If you're looking for an in-depth study with human subjects, scholarly references and proper application of the scientific method, this isn't going to satisfy you.

I am a Gladwell devotee!

Great audiobook. Love Malcolm Gladwells voice and l love his podcast. This book was good. I didn't always feel engaged with the examples and I didn't always feel each example fit nicely into his thesis in this one.

Still recommend it to Gladwell fans. I certainly still enjoyed it and love his writing, storytelling (and speech in presenting). For me, Gladwell is audio all the way. Doesn't disappoint!!

I only read this because of a reading challenge I’m doing. Not really my style. His example within an example with an example got confusing and old fast. A few of them seemed to barely be relevant to the topic at hand. Just kind of seemed like he was trying to fill the book at some points.

This was another good read from Gladwell, but I found myself taking issue with the book's thesis far more than in past books. Many of his arguments had holes that he did not address and overall I am left with the feeling that the book consisted more of anecdotes than studies and facts. As always, the truth lies somewhere in the middle and I enjoyed the perspective, but I can only give this one a middle of the road three stars.

Phenomenal read. Malcolm Gladwell does it again. Well researched topics prestented as compelling stories tell the tale of what power truly is and how the use of power doesn't always result in the desired outcome.

I love Malcolm Gladwell! A few of the stories throughout were less interesting than others, but overall I really enjoyed this book!

Listened to on audiobook. I really liked this book! Malcom Gladwall always narrates his books well.
