This book was awesome, especially the last chapter. So many tangible takeaways that I'll be using in my classroom.

This is the bible of educational and learner theory. Honestly, this is one of the best and most thought provoking books I've ever read. When I was a physics teacher, I would frequently revisit this book to guide how I taught my students. As a learner, it changed how I approached my studying and my education experience. Peter Brown has distilled learning down to a science, which of course speaks to me, but also preserves the art of learning, as well. If you're a teacher, or a student, or just looking for a good book that will make you think, this is a must for you.

Required reading for every student/learner and every teacher/trainer.

From what I remember, the key concepts were:
Active Learning (testing) is key - recall strengthens memories
Spaced repetition - the harder it is to recall, the more you will remember
Interspersion - changing activity will
Reflection
Generation
Mnemonics
