I love Adrienne Young's writing. It has a mystery to it, a slight mystical element. It has a touch of magic. Whether it's from sentient islands to red doors, allowing you to step through time and possible lives. To what we have here; a connection between twins that defies death. It's immersive to explore lives through this element that all it needs is a touch of magic to be beautiful.

A good book, but truthfully not a favorite. It was a bit slow and anticlimactic.

I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would..until the "omG turns out maybe I didn't know my twin brother" aspect that was repeated time and time again through every chapter became redundant.. Of course you wouldn't girl, you were gone for TWENTY years.

That may have primed me to believe: other aspects of the book were wishing to be dramatic rather than having been authentically dramatizing. 

If it wasn't for that I probably would have rated it a solid 3.5 stars.
