I really enjoyed this.  The writing was beautiful, haunting and atmospheric.  I would consider the story more mystery than thriller.  I have additional Adrienne Young books on my TBR and I can't wait to see what those bring.

I wanted to love it. But it was really just okay. I like Young’s ya so much idk why I keep reading her adult books hoping for the same feeling.

This book kept me guessing until the final pages and the writing was gorgeous and atmospheric (Adrienne Young is so good with words). It was also spookier than I thought it would be! 

The romance felt a little shallow though and some of the plot reveals felt unfinished as well. It just needed a bit more substance IMO, but still good.
