Diem is so annoying and almost refuses to grow or change in any way and is soooo dumb she can’t see the obvious truths right in front of her. Everything else about the book is fantastic, except the main character. It was a slog of a book to get through. She just keeps making the same mistakes and choices over and over and OVER again

this would’ve been a four but there was like
an hour and a half towards the end where the only plot was some form of.. intimacy… and then you get thrown back into the actual plot for an awful twist that should’ve had more time
