Tate WTF??!!! She’s done it again now I’m contemplating my whole sense of self and existence. What is real anymore. Heath omg killing me, then the Royce scene maybe not actually happening or the threesome with Heath & Carter. Heath is such a puppy dog and I love him but I can’t choose between Royce or Carter. This whole book has fcked with my head and I don’t know if I love it or not ahah. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. What the duck Tate.

I really like what this series is doing! Low-key wish we coup bypass the spice or keep the romance surface level. Idk I just really want to keep the focus on the mystery portion. So many details could be fleshed out if we didn’t spend time developing the RH relationship dynamics

I should’ve known there would be another cliffhanger… because of course it ends like that when the third book isn’t out yet. These authors love making me suffer. 😫 The ending?? I was so confused but also it’s so dramatic and ridiculous, part of me actually enjoyed it.
As it’s the second book in the series, I can’t say too much but we learn a few more things about the society and each guy’s family story. We get introduced to some new puzzle pieces and characters. I also do enjoy the various events they attend, they’re so over-the-top. I think by the time you reach the end, you kind of know who might be behind everything — however, things are very much still confusing. 😅
More progress with the different relationships though! And several funny and intense moments. 🤭 It’s definitely reigniting my why-choose binge reading mood. So if you start seeing any interesting reading updates from me, look away thanks 🫣

Another fast paced gem from Tate James. I should know better than to start a series when it isn’t complete because the CLIFFHANGERS! Ma’am you are killing me. I thought I had correctly predicted where the story was going-but I was wrong! The twists kept coming.
I might honestly fight Tate on the cliffhanger for this one. I've read every other book she's written, and I thought I had adapted and was prepared for the inevitable twist at the end. NOT THIS TIME. WHAT THE HECK, TATE! You better release book three immediately, my heart cannot take the wait.
This picks up right where Dear Reader ended and I was feral to continue this series! This is another freaking crazy ride while reading! I am a why choose girlie and I cannot get enough of Ashley and her men! Again this audio is absolutely amazing and duet with a multicast! I’m go glad I opted to listen to this series and binged both books in a matter of days! Now I will be no so patiently waiting for the next book because I just knew we would be left hanging yet again and it is KILLING me not knowing what is happening next.

Ok so thankfully Tate James did not shatter my heart after the cliffhanger from the first book !
This book was another totally captivating read. Again, I could not put this book down.
The plot gets a bit more intense and intricate with more elements being added, other secrets being unraveled and new suspects being introduced.
I thoroughly enjoyed the relationships between Ashley and her men. She has finally accepted her feelings for Heath, Carter and Royce. The guys have also accepted that they all have feelings for Ashley and they are all ok to share.
Each relationship is fun and flirty and they all are learning to balance their relationship and friendships. Nate, although nicer to Ashley,is still very grumpy and not totally on board with all his friends wanting her. Towards the end Nate's actions are very suspicious and had me wondering how much everyone should trust him.
The twists and turns in this book consumed me and I was very invested in all the relationships. I could not get enough and just when I thought things were settling down, that cliffhanger had my jaw dropping and my heart racing.
I cant wait for the conclusion to this trilogy.
