Basically "Financing your life: for dummies" written in a way that anyone can understand. Great financial advice for the average joe!
I like this book cause it managed to make investing sound fun, some of the information is outdated, but it says compound investing and start early is the way to go. Will check back in 20 years to see if I am as wealthy as the wealthy barber.

I'm on a journey to find a financial resource that iphone brained youths can actually understand and this is a good contender. It's written narratively as a multiple conversations between the wealthy barber and his customers. This was a surprisingly engaging format and I was able to pay attention easily. However, I must warn you that the characters are annoying.
The main reason I picked up this book was that I liked the idea that through good financial planning even a service worker could become wealthy and retire comfortably. However, all the characters receiving advice are upper middle class and play golf every weekend. I really wished there was a character that had a low income and how they might need to handle financial planning differently.
Despite this shortcoming, it still has some great practices and advice. I would recommend it for someone just getting started with a career and finances
