So, this book took me a while to get into in the beginning, I really thought that I was going to give up on trying to read it, because I was maybe not it the mood for it, or a bit overwhelmed with all the description, because I don't normally like to read overly descriptive books. As it turns out, I'm very glad I decided not to give up on this book.
Yesterday I just laid down on the couch reading this book and after a few short pages I was super immersed in the story. I couldn't put the book down after that. I read until 1 a.m last night, and today I picked up the book at every little break I had.
The story of Kya is a very lonely one, but everything she sees, everything she feels we feel it too. She had to grow up by herself, learn how to deal with the world in her own way, and she managed to survive it all.
I was so glad over every character that lent her a hand, and made her path in life a little bit better. The author has a very beautiful style of writing and the end of the book was unexpected.
I definitely feel like I stepped out of my comfort zone with this one, and I'm glad I did.
4 stars!

I thought it was a decent book about love, kindness, and redemption but it was not my favorite and I definitely thought there was a lot of unnecessary build up and only actually enjoyed the last third of the book. Wasn't bad but also wasn't great

I could not have loved this book more. The writing is superb, the story is excellent, the scenery and setting is stunning. I simply didn’t want this book to ever end. Absolutely recommend, this is one of the best books I’ve ever read in my life.
