There is defenitely a lot to like about this story, one being how it helped create the formula of the Batman character with the more psychological look into Bruce. It defenitely has some compelling elements to it with the relationship with Joker and the conclusion that reaches. I did find it a bit hard to follow at times, with the news segments interupting the flow. Additonally, there were parts I would've liked more fleshed at such as the involvement of Dent and also the role of Robin who Bruce just constantly comes off as cold to. Also what ended up happening with the Mutants felt like it had no build for me.

So yeah, decent read that I can appreciate for what it contributed culturally to Batman but reading it for the first time 37 years later some things just don't hold up.
