Yes, i'm very much ok with the fact that this girl is hooking up with 3 mafia brothers. I just cannot choose between them either! Great plot and smut

I work in 4 hours..

So I made of just read Malice within a day. Like holy Hannah it’s good. I just found out there was a second one that i will start tomorrow haha!

I enjoy this book a lot!

The most twisted , dark but beautiful, mafia story with a ton of emotions .
I don’t know where to begin : Coralee June slayed it again . This book was so wild and phenomenal.
It’s not for the faint of heart , the easily creeped out , or closed minded ... if that’s you , keep it moving . That’s not me so let’s get into it ! The three brothers Nick aka Malice, William , and Anthony are such a dynamic of brothers and each hold a special place in my heart now . They each have their own story and personality which you will love instantly. They have been born into the mafia world and have a baby sister Vicky . She befriends Juliette and here is where the wild journey begins . Juliette takes care of her grams and has some trauma she’s working through . She works at a shitty dinner and is obsessed with true crime and cold cases .
This story includes death , gory scenes , murder , blood , sexual abuse , reverse haram , sexual content of ANY element, and beautiful character growth .
I just can’t put this twisted story into enough words without spoiling . So if ya like dark shit , mafia , and some joker and Harley Quinn type love read this !!
Ps : Coralee’s end author note and tribute to her own Memaw is absolutely sweet perfection and why I love Coralee June so much , she’s so real , much love ❤️

A great dark romance with 3 very different men. Jumping into book 2!

Coralee took everything that seems to be cookie-cutter about RH and turned it on its head. She brought such a new and refreshing feel to this genre that, at times, seems overdone.

Her stories are always about the story that drives the characters. She never adds a scene that isn't necessary to the story and will never write something to fit the popular. Juliet and the three Civella Brothers, Nicholas/Malice, William, and Anthony, are amazing. They are messy, difficult, frustrating, hot, steamy, dark, and deliciously disturbed. Juliets character growth has made her one of my favorite heroines in any story I've read of 2021.

The three brothers each have a heat that will melt the toughest of critics. This beauty will be added to my bookshelf for sure!

This was a good quick read. I loved Nick (malice) and Anthony. There are some dark scenes please check TW. This was my first read by Coralee June and I really enjoyed it. There’s smut, drama, crime, plot etc. I did feel like the ending was a little bit rushed and that’s why I took one star off.

Literally only giving this 1 stars because we love a crazy man aka Anthony. But seriously, what the actual fuck was this book? The writing is TERRIBLE - there is no depth to it in any way. It was just weird choppy sentences strung together to make paragraphs. I started to make a drinking game out of this book every time a stereotypical “mafia” phrase was used like rat(s). How many times could someone be called a rat? And what is with the obsession with asses? Anthony having a tracker in his ass? Shoving the curling iron in Hales?????? This felt like a middle schooler writing on wattpad and trying to be overly edgy and descriptive yet having no background or depth to their writing in any way. ALSO the entire friendship with with Vicky was stupid and made no sense.. they were practically strangers who would see each other at the diner. There is still so much more I could say about how bad this book was but I don’t even know where to begin. And yes I’m still going to read the other two because I was dumb and bought all 3 books.

Enjoyed

I enjoyed this book and appreciated the fact that it was standalone. In a way, I hope we get Vicky’s story

Easy read. Anthony is the best part of the book. I wish it was not singular POV. The beginning was very good and fast paced and so many interesting plot lines but then it kind of just died down and there was no real plot or action happening.

This was a darker Mafia RH, and I was here for it. Juliet was such a strong h, even she did have issues concerning her missing mother. She became fascinated with crime since her mom went missing on her way from home when she was younger. I loved her close relationship with Grams.

Juliet works her butt off and puts her life on hold to take care of Grams. It just shows what kind of person she is and how she puts others first. I LOVED Juiet.

She befriends Vicky who is a Mafia princess. There were rules in place that she could not ask personal questions and to not let anyone know they are friends. Needless to say, hell breaks loose when her brother Nick finds out. He also goes by Malice to his enemies. Which he now considers Juliet. He is suspicious she might be a rat and takes her with him. It is an intense scene where he threatens her and makes her show loyalty in a horrible way.

She then becomes part of the crew till she can prove she is not the rat and help find the true rat.

I loved her relationship to each of the brothers. They are each so different and she offers each of them what they needed.

Malice is so controlling and an alphahole, so you know I loved him. He was amazing as he kept opening up to Juliet.

William was this sweet man who Vicky took with her to her meetings with Juliet for 3 years. Vicky told him he could not speak to her, so he listened intently and really learned who Juliet was.

Anthony was such a beautiful and damaged man. He was previously captured and tortured and was unable to handle touch or connection, until Juliet came along.

I loved each of the men and this story had a lot of action and violence. I thought the way Vicky treated her was horrible. She was so selfish and not a true friend. Can't wait to continue the next book.
