A very predictable story with a bland main character who falls for the stereotypical grumpy boy. It wasn’t a terrible read and was actually quite easy to get through, but most of the tropes found here feel overdone and tired. If you’re looking for just something easy and light to get through quickly, this one is for you

It's an absolute pleasure to be on this Ride

Ride is a snowboarder's dream. It's a photographer's fantasy. Ride is a romantic's next smile inducing rush!

Sexy and not so sweet snowboarder meets his match with the photographer looking for her breakthrough. These two have an unavoidable pull, a tension that makes even the most armoured tanks crumble with lust. (I know that made very little sense but my crazy has its reasons.)

Ride is an unexpected surprise. I sincerely hope that Harper Dallas continues to share her stories with the world because I'm over here waiting for more!

The one star is for the great writing style, the author is extremely talented, the writing flowed, the set up was good & I could picture the scenes unfolding in my head.

Everything else including the characters and the entire storyline was terrible. We love grumpy mean ml’s, but Chase was just horrible and manipulative. And there’s never any consequences to his actions. Tbf I don’t really like it when the female lead is toooo combattive, like not every convo has to be an argument, but this fl was just spineless. She did not make a SINGLE snippy comment back to him. I was at least waiting for her to give him an eye roll or at least a subtle passive aggressive retort. But nothing. She treated him like he paid her rent and she can’t say anything because she’d become homeless. He would literally insult her and shout at her, and her response would be to just quitely thank him for giving her a t-shirt to wear or something stupid like that. Like I was fully shocked at her just silently obsessive, creepy and spineless character.

Also I agree with everyone else that the book is very mundane and depressing, you feel v isolated as you read it bc most of the book is repetitive with descriptions of snow and mountains, barely any dialogue and literally no happy moments. Of course when you set a book in the mountains or whatever, it feels very isolated, but like I said, the constant reminder that the characters were stuck in this resort "on holiday" was just not fun. So not great if you’re already mentally ill and clinically depressed

Cute. If you like a sports romance and looking for something different than the usual football and hockey plots this is for you.

Eh.
I really wish this would have been better. Most of the book was actually pretty good and I liked the photographer aspect and the set up for the romance. I know the main characters were meant to be emotionally stunted/stubborn but I still found the interactions they had when they were alone extremely odd and strange. Just the wording of their conversations and him coming on to her. It was weird. Not sure if I feel like reading the second or not based on the writing of this one.

I was hooked for the first page .

This was an amazing read and the author a good job developing the characters as well as the pacing.

Each main character has their issues but together the overcame. Also the sexual tension keeps you on edge.

Definitely worth the read.
