Book two of the Franklin U series follows Marshall and Felix. Marshall is the nerdy (but still a big boy) brother of Robbie (the best part of Saxon James' Frat Wars series) and Felix is the son of Griff from Divorced Men's Club.

The entire plot revolves around miscommunication. My least favorite trope. Neither of these guys act like adults or have emotional maturity.

Felix has horrible incel vibes and this almost made me DNF this book at 9%; treating Marshall like crap because Marshall didn't want to have sex with him. Marshall is a wonderful guy who deserves way better than Felix.

The parts with Robbie and Brandon made me super happy.

I stuck it out because I liked Marshall. It was really hard to get through a book where I'm supposed to support a relationship between an insufferable ass and a nice guy who gets treated like crap for being Demisexual.

This is the first time I don't want to recommend a Saxon James book I've read.

3.5, To like this book its really important that you can get behind a really consistent miscommunication trope and some general frustration. But, I ended up really liking it, it had so much pinning and so much cute, it really held my attention and the relationship dynamic won me over. This book was a quick read that sometime made me wanna shake some sense into the character but I really enjoyed it.

Fe the son of Griff (DMC book 2) and Marshall is the brother of Robbie (Frat Wars book 2) they meet on a blind date that doesn't go well. Fe ends up moving into the same house as Marshall when they need a roommate, where the two try and fail to avoid each other. Circumstances keep happening where the two are set up on dates, until they finally talk and realize maybe things aren't as they seem.
Fe is an over the top character so if you don't like those types you may not be a fan of him. Marshall is a shy introvert who has issues communicating hes demi so it does lead to misunderstandings. Once Marshall enrolls the help of Mr. Romance (FU book 3) things click into place.
