This was literally the cutest story ever and I read it in less than a day! Charlie and Jake spent a perfect summer working together as camp counselors and then both were headed back to different parts of the world. But when they end up seeing each other 12 years later after Charlie has picked up and moved her life to the states, it has to be fate. Jake is the literal definition of a green flag man and is down SO BAD for Charlie and her kids. Seeing him with the kids literally had my heart swooning and me in a puddle on the floor. I adored them and this book had me shedding tears at several spots!

The book I read was a refreshing, fun, spicy, and deeply heartfelt experience. Their story had the perfect balance my soul needed, and I love that this is the debut novel of such an incredible author. THANK YOU for this wonderful read! Now, I can’t wait to dive into her next work.

Seal the Deal was such a joy to read. Charlie and Jake’s insta-chemistry was palpable, and you know I love a down bad man. I don’t know why I say I don’t really read fantasy, because men like Jake do not exist in real life. Surely? Maybe I’ve just met the wrong ones.
ANYWAY, the found family in this book really sealed the deal for me (pun intended). Meadow and Noah have been so let down in the past, something I wholly relate to, and the way that they were loved and chosen, not just by their mother who would (and did) move heaven on earth for them but also, by Jake was beautiful to read.
Yes, the romance was great. The banter was sweet and cozy, and the side characters like Zoe were lush. But the family? The way Jake stepped into that family without hesitation? Well, that was all this little fatherless daughter needed!

This was such an emotional read and a lovely debut. I love the single mum trope, it just makes me cry every single time. Jake is absolute perfection.

DNF @50%. Chapter 24 ruined the whole book for me. Jake went from hot to… not. The author should stick to YA scenes only.
The FMC’s BFF called it “an ice hockey game” & that’s just not correct. It’s petty, but it’s why I stopped reading.
When I tell you I read this entire book In 4 hours I mean it. I could not put it down the way I fell in love with Charlie and Jake…and Noah and Meadow too. I fell in love with them and want to just keep them all in my pocket and protect them forever. I literally didn’t want it to end, the way I need about 100000 more stories about these two doesn’t even begin to cover the way this book made me feel.
I loved this book and I don’t care who knows it.
12/5 stars, I cannot wait to read the second book and I cannot wait to share this story with everyone I know.
