Honestly only read it because I started the series on Amazon prime. Normally the books are better than the shows. In this case I don't think so. Maybe if he'd written the characters as seniors in high school and not 14-16 year olds some of this would be more "believable". Interesting book and I'll finish the series still. Also not the target audience so there's that.

One of my favourites from Harlan.
I really liked this book. I'm a big Harlan Coben fan and have read a few of the Myron Bolitar series. This is more of a teen mystery novel. My only complaint is that is the book didn't conclude. You have to read the next book to get the rest of the story. I'm just hoping that the story concludes with the second book.
A must read for teens who have yet to consider the implications of human trafficking.
I reread all of the Myron Bolitar books in the past few weeks to intro into this teenager-version of the books, so everything was a bit familiar. Nevertheless, a good teen mystery.
This book had mystery and thrills and kept me intrigued. I can't wait to read the next book...
Excellent intro into this series. Best YA book I've read recently. No magical characters- no perfect characters... not immersed in adult worlds, but learning how to navigate them.
