I enjoyed the conclusion to Devour of Men. We are still with Hook Roc and Wendy and have returned to Neverland to get help from Vane.
I enjoyed the plot and story line and enjoyed the Winnie and Wendy moments throughout the book. The series overall was different to the never king but I loved the relationships and the way that the plots developed throughout.

The development between these 3 is great! Although I was hoping for more between Hook & Roc 👀
I loved this but wish it was longer!
Another great audiobook for this! I loved the narrators!

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a great way to wrap up Hook, Wendy, and Roc’s story, though the author has announced there will be a Vane and Roc origin story! So it’s not quite the end 😏Seeing who was discussed at the end of this book and where Vane and Roc grew up, I’m sure it’s going to be one wild ride!
I really enjoyed the narration in this book, honestly, both of the books in the duet! Everyone was amazing, but I had an absolute ball listening to Rob Hatchet embrace his inner villain! There was something so intriguing about Hatchet voicing Roc, with his drawn out vernacular and commanding presence…🫠 It isn’t what I have typically heard him voice, but I was SO here for it! Shane East, Stella Hunter, Corvin King, Roxelana Waters, Diontae Black, and Curtis Michael Holland brought so much life to this story, that I didn’t want it to end! I was enthralled from beginning to end. These voice actors are spectacular and if you don’t know them, you NEED them in your life!
There is a backstory weaved through this book that leaves more mystery than solution. Though bits and pieces are revealed one at a time, until you’re left with *most* of the answers. Much of the story carries a mystery that weaves tension between our main characters. Roc, Hook, and Wendy are unsure how to navigate what could be a relationship between the three of them, but giving it a name may be its demise. Along with figuring out what they are, time is not on their side. If they don’t find what they are looking for, one of them may not survive. They set sail for Neverland to enlist the help of Roc’s brother Vane. The only problem? None of them are permitted, having been banished by Peter Pan. They may just meet their demise the moment they dock…
What a fun and spicy web that was weaved! I wasn’t sure how it was going to end! This story was intriguing, and having such a stellar cast of narrators with their talent and skill, brought it to the next level! I’m so glad that I was able to listen and review this title thanks to Nikki St. Crowe and Must Love Audio!
🪝“Doors mean nothing to monsters.”
🐊“You are not weak. You never were. Those were the lies they told you. Because a woman who sees her power is a woman who cannot be controlled.”
🎩“I’m not leaving him to you,” I tell him, risking my neck and my head. “I’m going after him. He’s my monster now.”
🪝“If we’re to do this, the three of us, it must be explicitly clear that you both have me equally. I like to share. It’s my favorite thing in the world. I want the Captain’s c*** in my mouth and my c*** in your p***y and I want to hear you both moan as you c**e for me.”
🐊“Do you remember, Crocodile? ‘Just six words.’” Roc inhales. “But I don’t need six. I just need three.”
