Devour The Dark

It didn’t need to be a novella. She added everyone else’s POVs so really she should have expanded more on the reason we were all gathered. Roc Hook and Wendy

I will never tire of this series. I DEVOUR everything Nikki St. Crowe writes and I'm so freaking ecstatic for what's to come. I audibly gasped at the ending!!

Devour the Dark continues the adventures of Roc, Captain Hook, and Wendy as they attempt to fix a monstrous problem all while finding the time for some spicy hookups. I love the way Nikki writes, I'm immediately captivated and swept up in the story, characters, and world she has built. I always find it difficult to put the book down! I really appreciate how she approaches polyamorous relationships and how everyone feels and gets included.

Roc is my current favorite tall, dark, tattooed, and brooding MMC to date. I can totally understand why any individual would jump at the chance to get with one (or both) of the Madd brothers!!

I liked that this wrapped up the storyline but compared to the first book or the Lost Boys series it felt like a let down in a lot of ways. The ensemble cast including so many people took away from Croc, Hook and Wendy's development significantly. There was a lot of Winne/Vane for what is supposed to be a dark fantasy/romance about the trio. Similar to the other novellas, this felt like it could have been very good with a longer story and more plot and character development and wasn't as rushed.
