I came into this series with an open mind, it was recommended to me by a friend who said I would like it. I didn't. The whole idea of this book threw me. The characters weren't developed in a way that made sense to me nor did their actions have any real impact on anything. It wasn't badly written or anything like that the plot line and the ending just weren't to my liking.
I thought this book was very original and clever. Definitely recommend it!
I had tried to read this book before and never could get into it. For some reason this time I breezed through it in about a week and loved it, getting involved with the characters and politics and getting angry at what was going on. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
Interesting concept in this book. Children who don't make it to the light after they die get stuck in Everlost. Nick and Allie both die at the same place at the same time and become companions as they search Everlost for answers. They make friends and enemies as they try and figure out why they are stuck in everlost for eternity.
