Holy Moly, between Mason and Claire- I am not sure who is the spiciest or the naughtiest… but I am sure that together these two are on a one way train ride to Spicyville. I was hooked from the moment these two barged into each others lives and I stayed after reading their texts back and forth. Mason and his “touch her” vibes and Claire and her independent “I can do it” made for an absolutely mind blowing book. I literally can not say enough good things regarding the series and I can not describe how impressed I am with the spicy scenes! This book absolutely slayed me in the best possible way and I can’t wait for more of this series! Bravo to this author on a well written book!
It just—wasn’t dark enough. I like my heroes to be unhinged and I was not getting that.

Such a great mysterious book!! I swear, I felt the emotions of Claire!! I loved the "realness" of emotions within the book!! It made me bond to the characters more. Add to it the steamy scenes

I absolutely loved this book. I devoured it in 2 days because I just couldn't put it down. (I read it on my phone, and I read it EVERYWHERE) We first meet Claire, who is very relatable, real and so down to earth. I just loved her from the very first page. She is witty, charming and captivating. (I can honestly say, I could see a little part of myself in Claire, which I felt was what made the connection with her so honest) Claire goes through some shit throughout this book, and I thought she handled herself very well. As the story unfolds you can really see why she chooses the paths that she does.
Enter Mason! Where to begin with Mason? He's gorgeous, alluring, dark, mysterious, possessive, commanding, dangerous. Did I mention Gorgeous? The way that Aurelia described him left no gaps to be filled in. (She gave you all of him from top to bottom) and the Chemistry between the two of them...
You will definitely catch yourself biting your bottom lip right alongside Claire... I know I did. (Is it possible, to love an Alpha Male to the point where you just want to jump into a book and take the place of the main character?) Aurelia makes you crave and yearn for Mason, as well as appreciate Claire for all that she is. I found myself just obsessed with the entire story.

Aurelia supplies you with danger, spice, and the perfect dash of humor throughout this book. There are multiple storylines that unfold throughout the book, and I was definitely curious as to how they would all come together. It doesn't end in a cliffhanger (I mean, I love a good cliffhanger but I felt like this was the perfect way to end this first book) I can honestly say that if you read this book, you will be gripped with every part of your being, begging for more. I cannot wait to see book 2 has to offer.
Aurelia Knight did such an amazing job with this story. I look forward to what comes next for Mason and Claire, as well as what else she has in store in the future!

WOW! I could not put this book down, I had to keep reading "one more chapter"! It had cuteness, witty banter, some ghost pepper spice and mystery. I thought I had figured out what was happening/the twists but boy was I wrong. I was not ready for that ending and I already want more!!
2.5 ⭐️. The writing drove me nuts. Poor editing & the book was very predictable to me.
This was absolute trollop. No redeeming qualities. 0 stars if possible.
