Красива добра історія, як і всі, які я читала у Фенні Флеґґ.
Це письменниця, від творів якої так солодко і тепло, що ти закриваєш очі на нелогічні моменти. Вважаю, що ця історія не тільки для Різдва. Вона для будь-якого момента у вашему житті, коли так хочеться повірити в чудо.

A wonderful book to read on Christmas Eve. I love it when the author can paint a picture with their words and Fannie Flagg definitely can. She had me convinced that I should move to this little town in Alabama. A very sweet story with unforgettable characters and the best sort of feel good, happy ending.

Read this again to refresh my memory for the book group. Sweet story. Christmas themed. Predictable. But it's Fannie Flagg so it's funny and makes you feel good.

I read this book on kindle and listened to it on audible at the same time, listening when I didn’t have time to read. The audible version was narrated by Fannie Flagg herself which made it all the more heart-warming to me. This is a sweet, short, perfectly quaint Christmas tale and I loved every minute of it.

This book was a perfectly charming little Christmas story. Strangely, it ends up being more about the whole town rather than the main character of the first few chapters, so don't be too stressed about his plotline. If you're in the mood for a feel-good story, this will fit the bill, but it's nothing particularly amazing that I'd want to return to again.

Ja pārāk nepiesienas pie vienkāršā rakstības stila, tad šis ir mīlīgs ASV dienvidu ciemiņa sadzīves attēlojums, kur visi (izņemot tos, ar kuriem tev ir mūža naids un kas draud tev ielaist lodi pierē) ir galīgi jauki cilvēki + viens pieradināts sarkanais kardināls, kas visus vieno kopīgā supercukuriņā. Lasāmviela, kas der, lai noskaņotos uz Ziemassvētku brīnumiem.
