Premise had promise. However... Storyline:boring. FL:annoying, weak, wishy-washy. ML:sickly sweet, bit cringe, kind of gave me the ick at certain parts.

By the 75% mark I was just waiting for the end.

This book had been on my kindle for months, not sure why it took me so long to start?! I listened to the free audible narration and so glad I did. Loved every minute of this book, though I will say, the ending was a bit cheesy :P also just want to add that I thought the writers did a great job of showcasing extreme anxiety and panic disorder.

This book filled me with a range of emotions. I loved Griffin so much. It was an excellent listen and the book actors were amazing. I loved how much Griffin loved and stayed true to Luca!  Her trauma was real and it touched on so many different phases of PTSD. The HEA was so worth it in the end. To watch the growth of Luca through her trauma was nice. This book has me smiling, crying and saying "aahhh".  I definitely recommend this for anyone who loves love that is tested over time.

It was a struggle to read as far as I did. I liked neither of the main characters. Griffin honestly sounded whiny and sleazy to me while Luca was... boring. The supposedly dirty letters instead if being dirty hot felt more to me like dirty creepy.

The writing was also meh. If I didn't know that Vi Keeland is a popular author, I probably would've thought this was written by an amateur. What happened???

This was an emotional read with Luca and Griffin being childhood pen pals who lost touch after Luca suffered a traumatic event. When she finds an angry rant letter from Griffin she decides to reach out to him. Continuing their friendship becomes the highlight of her day. However Griffin doesn't know what happened to her and he doesn't understand the extent of her agoraphobia.

When they try to make it work there is a lot they have to figure out but when they finally meet Griffin knows it is worth it.

Griffin was so firm in knowing that she was it for him, and he was so sweet in accommodating her needs, even when he couldn't predict issues that could happen.

With the use of her therapist turned father figure she tries to work through all her panic and trauma responses to try and make it work with Griffin, even going cross country in an RV, to meet Griffin.

This totally brought me to tears at times, though I did feel like some of the sexy talk was a little cringy.

The intimate scenes were too glossed over for my taste, but it was still an enjoyable read. I really liked the concept.
